Todd A. Ehrke

Class of '07, College of Arts and Sciences

Todd A. Ehrke ’07, Hickman, was the recipient of the Exceptional Service Award at the 2019 Doane Homecoming Alumni Banquet.  With a spirit of exceptional service, Todd co-leads the Inter-Greek Alumni Association and has worked for the betterment of the entire Doane Greek system.

Erica P. Heiden, ’07, Omaha, was the recipient of the Exceptional Service Award at the 2019 Doane Homecoming Alumni Banquet. Erica was recognized for her efforts in serving with the Inter-Greek Alumni Association and has worked for the betterment of the entire Greek System at Doane.

Paulvince has demonstrated outstanding service inside and outside of the classroom. His selflessness is seen at every turn, playing a large role in shaping the man he is today.

Megan C. Perry

Class of '15, College of Arts and Sciences

Megan C. Perry ’15, Omaha, received a 2019 UNMC Presidential Graduate Fellowship.  The prestigious fellowships are awarded to a select group of NU graduate students each year on the basis of high academic performance and personal accomplishment. Megan completed a master’s degree from UNMC in medical anatomy and is pursuing her Ph.D. 

Breanna Fye McDonald

Class of '16, College of Arts and Sciences

Breanna Fye McDonald ’16, Phillips, is the first recipient of the Dr. E. Eugene Miller Legacy Scholarship. The family of Dr. Gene Miller created an annual scholarship fund to invest in the students of Grand Island by investing in the quality of their educators. This fund will offer a scholarship to a Grand Island Public School educator who is pursuing postgraduate level coursework to advance their professional development as a teacher, counselor or administrator. Breanna is a kindergarten teacher with Grand Island Public Schools and is pursuing a degree in Educational Leadership at Doane University.

Jessica L. Shultis

Class of '16, College of Arts and Sciences

Lincoln, Nebraska

Jessica was crowned Miss Nebraska 2018 in June, and competed in the Miss America 2019 pageant on September 9, 2018. Shultis placed in the top 10 at the Miss America pageant.
