Boulder, Colo., Lance has been named the assistant vice chancellor for advancement and associate athletic director, for the University of Colorado-Boulder, shifting from his previous role as chief revenue officer. Â Gerlach brings extensive leadership, supervision and business relationship experience that will strengthen the organization and improve collaborations across the CU university and larger community.

Erin Cimpl-Nahorny

Erin Cimpl-Nahorny '01C, Columbus. After her 4 year old son was diagnosed with Stage 4 High-Risk Neuroblastoma cancer in 2012, she and her spouse, Chris, started up Sammy's Superheroes Foundation in response to the needed research and funding for childhood cancers compared to all other forms. The Foundation works to raise funds, as well as research and awareness, for all kinds of childhood cancer. Now, she’s helping not only her own son, but thousands of children battling cancer.
