Lynn Johnson Mills
Class of '74, College of Arts and Sciences
Prosser, Wash., Â Â Lynn received the Administrative Technical Excellence Award from the College of Agriculture Human and Natural Resource Science (CAHNRS) at Washington State University. Â Â Mills was nominated for her activities in scholarship, community engagement, graduate student training and her service which embody the mission, image and goals of the College as a whole.
Joann Snitily Couton
Class of '74, College of Arts and Sciences
Joann Snitily Couton ’74, Wahoo, was the recipient of the Platt Music Award at the 2019 Doane Homecoming Alumni Banquet. The Platt Music Award is presented to a Doane graduate for outstanding achievement in music.

Enrique E. Sanchez
Class of '74, College of Arts and Sciences
Enrique E. Sanchez ’74, Panama, Republic of Panama, was appointed by President Laurentino Cortizo as a new director of the board of directors of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP). Sánchez retired in December 2014, after a 38-year career at the ACP. His family, for three generations, has worked on the Canal. His grandparents participated in the construction and inauguration, and his father was a road worker for 43 years. He was also part of the National Board of Scrutiny. Sanchez will serve on the Board until 2028.
