Internship Opportunities

Doane students participate in internships, summer employment, and shadowing gaining hands-on work experience. Internships can be taken for college credit through the new College to Career Center. Environmental Science students have completed these experiences at organizations such as:

  • National Park Service-Homestead National Monument
  • Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality
  • SWT Energy Inc.
  • Upper Big Blue River Natural Resources District

This service is provided by the National Council for Science and the Environment. Doane is a member of the NCSE which is dedicated to improving the scientific basis for environmental decision-making by bridging the gap between science and policy to catalyze solutions.
