Doane graduate Chris Bombardier ’07, who was featured in the Fall 2017 edition of Doane Magazine for his pursuit of climbing the seven summits, will be back on campus Tuesday, March 5th for the screening of his documentary, Bombardier Blood.
About the Film: Experienced mountaineer Chris Bombardier has never let severe hemophilia B stop him from summitting some of the world's tallest mountains. In 2017, Chris partnered with the WEBBY-Award winning production team at Bellevue Limited to film his journey through Nepal to summit the world's tallest peak, Mount Everest.
In 2018, Chris became the first person with hemophilia B to summit all seven of the highest peaks on each continent. Reaching the top of the seven summits is a feat just over 400 people can claim they have accomplished. During this private screening and Q&A of Bombardier Blood, Chris will highlight the disparity in health care across the world and will teach us how to reach new heights.
