Qualifications and Requirements

What are the academic requirements for this program? 

High school applications must have:

  • At least a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • ACT Composite Score of at least 23 (SAT combined score of 1620) and an ACT Reading Subscore of 22 (SAT 530 Critical Reading Score)

Doane University requires a minimum of 9 transferable credits with at least a “B” grade before enrollment. Individual programs may require a specific course as part of the nine credits for acceptance. 

This program is not currently available to transfer students. 

How many credits are students required to take per semester while in the 3-year program? 

Current programs require 17-18 credits per semester at Doane University. 

Are students required to take summer courses? 

It is likely students will need to take summer courses to meet program expectations. However, the sessions and credits required depend on the student’s specific academic program, as well as the number of initial credits transferred to Doane University.
