Please register for events online by Thursday, September 26th or call the Alumni Office at 402.826.6795. Just heading back for the weekend? Leave us your name in the RSVP form, and we’ll pass the message on to your friends so they know to join you! Homecoming t-shirt information coming soon.
    Sunday, October 6                                                                          
    • 2 - 5 p.m. Welcome to the Jungle (Lincoln) Join us where the wild things are at the Lincoln Children's Zoo! All alumni and families are FREE. Gather in the NEW multi-purpose room at 3pm for prizes, games and a special message.
    Monday, October 7                                                                          
    • 5:00 p.m. Student Kick-Off Celebration - SPB (Perry Campus Center) The Crete campus celebrates the beginning of a week full of fun! Meet up with Thomas the Tiger for a night of BBQ, decorating and celebrating.
    • 6:30p.m. Fall Festival (Hansen Parking Lot and Osterhout Lane) Community members, students and alumni are invited to celebrate Together as Tigers with live music, contests, inflatables, fun food and special guests from the local area.
    • 8 p.m. Fireworks (Communications Parking Lot) Start Homecoming Week off with a bang! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to set up in the parking lot for a spectacular performance that will rival the Fourth of July.

      • 6-8 p.m. Corks, Forks and Brews (Omaha Campus) Join us for a tasting event and meet faculty and staff from the Doane Omaha Campus. Sample beer, wine, and delicious bites, all while enjoying the company of Doane alumni and Omaha Campus students. $20/person.

      • 7:30 p.m. Theatre Production of "Much Ado About Nothing" (Whitcomb Lee Conservatory) Filled with intrigue, double crossing, and comedy, Much Ado About Nothing is the perfect evening of Shakespeare. Follow the rocky romances of Hero and Claudio and Beatrice and Benedict as they explore what loyalty, trust, and love means to each of them. Reserve tickets here

      • 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Art Show (Communications, Rall Art Gallery) Heather Bryant’s lithographs use animal imagery to create sacred stories of how the creatures in real or imaginary worlds behave. An eclectic mixture of color, pattern, and repetitious ornamentation adorn Bryant’s mixed media drawings created with watercolor, gouache, ink, and Sharpie. The investigation of opposing forces is a focus of her research, which concentrates on the struggle between vice and virtue, being in this world but not of this world.

Take one for the team! Join the Capital Alumni Chapter and reunion classes for a 4-person scramble. Part of the fee will go towards student scholarships. Open to all alumni and friends. THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO TEMPERATURE.
