Oregon Trail Band Director Nomination & Recommendation Form
The 14th annual Oregon Trail Band sponsored by Doane University will be held Monday, January 11, 2021, at Bridgeport High School. There will be one band which will be conducted by Dr. Jay W. Gilbert. Twenty schools participated last year, and we hope you will consider joining us this year.
In selecting the band this year you will need only to fill out the Nomination and Recommendation form below, one time per student. It is very important that you rank your students from your best students (1) to your least best (2, 3, 4, etc.). I promise to take at least the first and second ranked students regardless of school size. Sight-reading is another important consideration, so please answer both sight-reading questions. Due to COVID-19, a smaller, 65 piece band will be selected. We will also be following all National Federation of Hish School Associations (NFHS) reccommended COVID-19 protocols.

10:30 a.m. Sectionals - woodwinds, brass, and percussion
11:00 a.m. Full Band Rehearsal 2
11:30 a.m. Sectionals - woodwinds, brass, and percussions
12:00 p.m. Full Band Rehearsal 3
12:30 p.m. Sectionals - woodwinds, brass, and percussion
1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:45 p.m. Full Band Rehearsal 4
