Glenn E. Mitchell  ’70, Port Arthur, Tex. was featured in the February 7th edition of the Port Arthur News highlighting his career in education in honor of Black History Month.  Mitchell is a principal at Port Arthur Memorial High School.

Eric L. Stearns’03, Lincoln, is to be honored  at the 42nd annual Mayor’s Arts Awards on April 14th at Pinnacle Bank Arena.  Stearns is receiving the Heart of the Arts Award, and is known for his outreach to students across the region.  Stearns is an associate professor of art at Doane University.
